The presidential campaigns are back in high gear after "Superstorm Sandy" ravaged the East Coast. Mitt Romney's running mate, Paul Ryan, was back in his home state Wednesday for a two day whistle-stop tour.
The candidates in Wisconsin’s 3rd Congressional District race may be running one of the more cordial campaigns this election season. Democratic Congressman Ron Kind of La Crosse is being challenged by retired Colonel Ray Boland of Sparta.
Democrats hold a two-seat majority in the state Senate. Republicans need to win three seats next week in order to take the lead. They're targeting a freshman democrat who won her seat in last year's recall election. The 18th District encompasses Fond Du Lac and Oshkosh.
