Legislators may soon decide the fate of Governor Scott Walker's controversial plan to expand taxpayer-funded school vouchers. The expansion has been a divisive issue, especially in the communities that would be directly impacted.

The legislature's budget committee is scheduled to vote on some hot-button issues this week. 

Board members of the state jobs agency say the board of directors needs more power. 

The Walker administration has laid out a plan that would reduce the University of Wisconsin's (UW's) reserves by $136 million, partly through a $94 million dollar cut in state funding.
