More than 150 people from Wisconsin joined a march in Washington D.C. Sunday, pushing for government action to reduce global warming.
Stephanie Kimball is with the group 350 Madison. She says President Obama recently urged people to push him to address climate change.“And I felt the need, along with 150 fellow Wisconsinites, to go show him that he has the power behind him, and the will of the people. So I wanted to make my voice heard, as well my body to count in this biggest rally in climate change history.”
Kimball says her group remains focused on stopping the proposed Keystone XL pipeline between Canada and Texas. But several Wisconsin businesses say they want to help build the pipeline.
