Thompson and Baldwin Barnstorm the State

By

U.S. Senate candidates Tammy Baldwin and Tommy Thompson have another full day of campaigning planned today as they compete for votes ahead of tomorrow’s election.

Representative Baldwin says she visited four African-American churches in Milwaukee yesterday, before the Democrat dropped by a Milwaukee get-out-the-vote office during the first half of the Green Bay Packers game.

Baldwin watched several minutes of the game, then met with the news media at halftime. Baldwin says if she’s elected to the Senate, one of her votes would be on the so-called fiscal cliff, the combination of possible federal tax increases and spending cuts.
