The President and The Boss in Wisconsin

The road to the White House passes through Madison this morning, as President Obama makes his third campaign stop in five days in Wisconsin.He is scheduled to appear at a rally that will include rocker Bruce Springsteen a couple of blocks from the State Capitol.

The president spoke in Milwaukee on Saturday, and visited Green Bay on Thursday.Recent polls give the president a lead of a few percentage points in Wisconsin, and some political analysts say Mr. Obama’s last-minute push in Wisconsin is aimed at keeping the state’s 10 electoral votes out of Republican Mitt Romney’s column.Those votes become more important to Romney if he doesn’t win Ohio on Tuesday.

The Romney campaign is also paying a lot of attention to Wisconsin.Mitt Romney spoke in West Allis on Friday.Vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan holds an election eve rally tomorrow night in Milwaukee.
