Yesterday's storm dropped about 5-10" of snow over much of southern Wisconsin.  Reedsburg recorded 10".  Other totals as of last evening: Westfield, 9"; Platteville, 8.8"; Richland Center, 8"; Green Lake, 8"; Ashwaubenon, 8"; just west of Madison, 7"; Dodgeville, 7", Onalaska, 6"; Wausau, 6", Washington Island, 5.5".

The National Weather Service says bitterly cold weather will settle in for the next couple of days.  Today's forecast calls for high temperatures ranging from 6 to 9, though it will be in the low teens near Lake Superior.  Tonight's temperatures will reach 14-to-17 below zero across the state.  Tomorrow's highs will be 0 to 4.

There is a wind chill advisory in effect for nearly all of Wisconsin through noon Friday.  Wind chills are expected to reach double-digits below zero during the period.
