Shamane Mills is a reporter who has worked in both broadcast and print media. She worked as a reporter at the Wisconsin State Journal. She also worked as a morning news show producer in television. She has extensive radio news experience covering Madison city and Dane county governments for several years. She now reports mainly on health issues.

She has won several awards including those for stories on infant mortality and the hazards of texting.

She lives in Madison with her husband and two dogs.
